How to fix a zipper

Why you’re going to love this

Fix that zipper. It’s simple to do. It’s free. And yes, it solves for that annoying broken zipper that constantly fails to close.

What you’ll need

That friggin’ zipper. Vegetable oil. Good will and force.

How you will do it

Bring the zipper down to where you would normally start zipping it. Lubricate generously with a few drops of vegetable oil both the zipper groove and the teeth where the zipper should be attached.

Wash your hands with soap and water and dry them thoroughly before proceeding. Firmly grasp the zipper in one hand and the loose teeth in the other. Try to thread the zipper onto the teeth using a good deal of force.

If you’re worried about pinching your fingers, wear gloves. The zipper should slip back onto the loose teeth.

If at first you don’t succeed, use more lubricant and force. That’s it! In your face, zipper!
